This year, instead of putting together a “best of” or “favorite” list, I put together a mix of my fave songs of the year.

Some songs correspond with what would be my fave albums, if I were to make a list. Others, not so much.

    hi pal, happy new year!

Do you know that Amazon.com is using your reviews?

I was surprised when i was reading this web about the kongos, at least they write the source, congratulations,
    bye

i like your album reviews. you frequently review stuff that i don’t see reviewed on other sites. i know i’ve discovered a number of good new bands through your site. here are my favorites of 2007. there were only three albums i really, really dug (from start to finish). then i have some “honorable mentions.”

    1. a sunny day in glasgow – scribble mural comic journal
    2. die! die! die! – promises, promises
    3. triangulo de amor bizarro – s/t

    honorable mentions:

    *ceremony – disappear
    *radiohead - in rainbows
*the voices – the sound of young america
*the field – from here we go sublime
    *young and restless – s/t
    *love of diagrams – mosaic
    *film school – hideout
*death of a party – the rise and fall of scarlet city
*pissed jeans – hope for men
