Submit Album/EP

I regularly receive E-mails from bands and artists asking to have their albums reviewed on this site. Please let it be noted that I will gladly consider this and will give honest opinions on the recordings sent to me; you can see what kind of music I like from the albums I’ve reviewed and my best-of lists.

It would, however, be useful if you could direct me to any audio samples you have on-line or at least describe the genre of the music on offer. Readers of the site will note that I give a lot of coverage to electronica, post-punk, post-rock and dream pop. I generally post reviews of albums but I have been known to write about EPs as well. I do not review singles, however.

If required I will include an address where readers can purchase the album. I also try and locate the best web site for each album reviewed. Please E-mail me on leonards.lair@ntlworld.com and let’s make this happen!

    Hello, my name is Neil Yates. I am a singer/songwriter in the alternative rock and pop genre and I’m interested in a possible review on your web site.

    I don’t have a whole album for review yet, but there are 6 songs to be heard on my MySpace page, which I could also send to you on a CD or as MP3s to constitute an EP.
